Announcing the First Annual ATB Championships!
Tournament Director Joe Gilbert and the entire ATB Board are excited to announce the inaugural ATB Championships, a tournament exclusively for Advantage Tampa Bay members!
The event will be held Saturday, August 1st, on the hard courts at Hillsborough Community College, beginning at 8 am. For those competing in the Sunshine Cup, Florida Cup, and Citrus Classic tournaments this fall, the ATB Championships will be a terrific opportunity to get in some extra preparation in a competition environment--without having to leave home!
Competition levels are planned in the Open, A, B, C and D divisions (singles only), with a maximum of 8 players in each flight. Play will be single-elimination. Court-availability restrictions limit the total number of tournament participants to 40, but if a division has fewer than its allotted 8 players, the tournament director may increase the size of another division's draw. A waiting list will be established and maintained to accommodate this possibility.
All divisions are co-ed, and we highly encourage our ATB women to participate! In addition, normal GLTA rules will apply, allowing women players the option to enter a division one level lower than their GLTA points rating if they choose to do so.
The cost to play is $25 per person, payable at the tournament check-in desk. SIgn-up is now available at the tournament's page on the GLTA website:

Please note that, although we are using the GLTA site for registration and tournament administration, this is NOT a GLTA-sanctioned event and you will not earn GLTA rating points by participating. For complete details and regulations, please visit the site link above.
