The Citrus Classic 2022 will be held the weekend before Thanksgiving. Match play will begin on Saturday, November 19 and continue through Monday, November 21. Match play will be as early as 8AM and as late as 8PM on each day (except for Monday). Players are expected to be available at all times during the tournament. In addition to the regular single-elimination main draws, we will offer consolation brackets for first-match losers in SINGLES events that are not round robin. Important note regarding COVID-19: all players are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to attending our tournament.

Registration Fees:

One event: $140

Two events: $160

All entries must be paid in full by the registration deadline. If you have a free entry, enter the certificate number in the registration comments and notify use at CitrusClassicDirector@gmail.com; While we expect to host a welcome party and banquet, these events will be subject to COVID pandemic related CDC guidance.


All events will have player caps (e.g., 40+ age divisions will be capped at 8 players). Once the maximum registration amount for an event has been reached, players may still register and will be placed on a waiting list. Players on a waiting list maybe be moved into an event upon withdrawal of other players but may also be eligible for an event after registration is closed and final turnout for the tournament has been determined. For purposes of waiting list priority, players who have paid registration fees will have priority.

Please note all entries must be paid in full by the registration deadline (November 5, 2022). Your entry is not complete until all payments are received in full. We will issue a full refund if you withdraw by November 5th, and no refunds will be issued thereafter.

If you enter any division that is full with a waiting list, please tell us if you would like to play an alternate event if space is not available in your first choice (e.g. MS B 40+ is full, you can join the waiting list, but are willing to play MS B instead).

Guests are welcome at all events; for the banquet, there is a $40 guest fee to attend.

Schedule:
November 18, Friday evening: Welcome party
November 19-21: Saturday – Monday: Match play
November 20, Sunday evening: Banquet
November 21, Monday: Finals

Meal and Snacks:
We will provide lunches at the tournament site on Saturday and Sunday. The banquet is on Sunday evening. Snacks will be provided during the tournament. Water is provided for players playing matches, but in an effort to promote sustainability we suggest that players bring a container and make use of the water coolers provided. Bottled water will not be provided.
